Building an AI-Powered Content Automation System
An internal system I built to automate content research, analysis, AI generation, captions, and distribution across Facebook and Pinterest.
Too much manual work to maintain content growth
I was managing a home-decoration Facebook page with 50K+ followers, primarily from the United States. Maintaining growth required continuously researching viral content, creating posts, writing captions, scheduling publications, and monitoring performance.
This became a major operational bottleneck, taking time away from my website, brand, and other projects.
Turning content production into an automated system
I built an internal system that analyzed high-performing content, combined those insights with market research, and used AI/LLM APIs to generate new content and captions.
Instead of treating every post as a separate manual task, I created a repeatable content pipeline with performance data feeding back into the process.
Extending the system to Pinterest
I applied the same approach to Pinterest: identify successful content patterns, generate new content around those patterns, and distribute it toward my website.
From manual operations to scalable distribution
What I learned
- Data can drive creativity: performance data became an input for content generation.
- AI needs context: combining AI with market research produced a more structured workflow.
- Automation creates leverage: reducing repetitive work allowed me to focus on strategy and other business activities.
